Kyle Jackson, a.k.a Mongraal (born August 12, 2004) is one of the fastest Fortnite players out there. He builds and edits with incredible speeds. He was the youngest Fortnite player to sign to a professional eSports organization at the time, since he was only 13…Mongraal is currently playing for the competitive team FaZe, while he previously played with Team Secret. He is also a professional Twitch streamer and YouTuber.

Mongraal Fortnite Settings
Mongraal might still be young, but he’s already one of the best Fortnite players out there. Mongraal’s Fortnite settings facilitate his high-level play, letting him build fast and hit all of his shots. Mongraal’s been playing professional Fortnite since he was only 13, having been signed for Team Secret back then. He’s now graduated to bigger teams. As a player for the FaZe clan, he’s at the top of the game when comes to raw skill. Mongraal’s Fortnite style really highlights how well he plays mechanically. Moves like crouch strafing and insanely quick turns for builds are flourishes on top of his speedy aim. This kind of mechanical playing requires an in-depth knowledge of how Fortnite functions. It also needs the right set-up though, Mongraal’s Fortnite settings and PC allow him to move at these speeds and pull off skillful plays in games.
It’s this type of talent and Mongraal’s Fortnite settings that have allowed him to excel in competitive tournaments. He came in fifth at the Bugha throwback cup, second in the MrSavage Cup, and second in the Benjyfishy cup. At the World Cup finals, he placed 6th as a Duo along with Mitr0 and thirteenth in the Solo round. He has been consistently placing high in Fortnite tournaments for a long time and his skill doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
Using Mongraal’s Fortnite settings might not make you as skilled as he is, but it can help you. Trying out the settings of pro players can give you some insight into the way that they move and play in the game, it typically also helps you rise your frames per second up a bit.
Mongraal’s Sensitivity
Mongraal’s sensitivity is set to 33% when targeting and scoped. General sensitivity is 5.8% on X and Y. This is slightly higher for targeting and scoped when compared with most players. His general is set quite low, which kind of evens this out. It makes his quick maneuvers when building even more impressive though. His lower sensitivities might have something to do with his DPI.
Mongraal’s Fortnite settings include a DPI of 800. This is lower than a lot of the best gaming mice make possible. It is pretty responsive, but it just about evens out his stranger sensitivities. This allows him to make bigger movement, but quicker ones when he’s scoped. Mongraal’s sensitivities aren’t entirely conventional. However, you might be able to master them.
A lot of sensitivity skill is down to muscle memory and what you are skilled/accustomed to. If you want to try out Mongraal’s sensitivities it might take you some time to get to grips with them. It is important to try and match the DPI though. Since Mongraal’s Fortnite settings are dependent on the DPI that the mouse is providing too.
Mongraal’s Build Settings
Mongraal’s build settings are also something that sets him aside from most players. The assignment of buttons to each part is pretty scattershot. Wall goes to mouse button 5, floor is his mouse sniper button, stairs are his fourth mouse button and his roof is left shift. Mongraal’s Fortnite settings are a little different from what you would find elsewhere.
He splits his building choice across his mouse and keyboard, but beyond normal buttons. Putting an input into his DPI button definitely works for him, but it is a layout that would take some time to master. You would also need to have that many buttons on your mouse. Clearly, this asymmetrical layout works really well for Mongraal, but it might be hard to emulate. While Mongraal’s Fortnite settings can be replicated by most people, his building settings are a bit more difficult.
If you have the available buttons, then Mongraal’s build settings might be worth trying out. It could take some time, but having the pieces spread around as Mongraal does could be helpful. You might not be able to build at the same speed as Mongraal, but it could help you speed up.
How Old is Mongraal?
Mongraal was only 13 years old when he first became a Fortnite player, he’s now 16 though! This means he will soon be out of school and able to spend more time practicing and streaming. Although, his current skill level with the game doesn’t really suggest that school has ever been an issue for him.
Despite being underage he’s already managed to rack up quite a lot of prize money in Fortnite.

There is no MouseAcceleration in Fortnite, that setting there is only for Mac users. Please leave that setting be and don’t change it from the default value.

Currently Mongraal does not use a colorblind mode.
