Desks aren’t complicated pieces of furniture although assembly is definitely required. While simple, there are still several areas you need to consider before you settle on a new desk or you could find your new gaming monitor on the floor.

Size

The first thing you should do before you look at brands or cable routing, you need to take a hard look at your monitor. Are you running multiple monitors or just have a 24” FHD display?
