How to Win in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight
If you’re going straight into gunfight into this new call of Duty game, then this is what you’ve got to keep in mind to win.
Communication in Gunfight
Since it is a 2 vs 2 mode you need to be in proper communication with your partner. This isn’t a solo game really. Even if you’re playing with a stranger, you need to be calling out where enemies are and what you are doing. Doing this helps you stay coordinated.
Change Your Type of Attack
This game mode is a great place to try out the different types of play available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. You should use all of them. Not only will this give you a feel for the different classes that the game has to offer, but it helps you win more games. Enemy players may have already defaulted to the type of weapons they go for in other games, changing up your play style lets you take advantage of this by countering them.
Learn the Maps in Gunfight
While playing Early Access, most players aren’t that familiar with the locations. Try and learn the maps inside and out. This gives you an advantage while playing against newcomers, but it will also be helpful for when the game launches in full.
Capture the Flag
In Gunfight, if a round is not won then a small flag will appear in the map as a form of overtime. If you capture this flag, you will win the round. It is definitely worth going for this flag when the round ends. A lot of players just ignore it and continue going for the kill. You can also use the flag as bait and watch out for an enemy approaching to take it.
Listen to Your Surroundings in Gunfight
Gunfight is a low-key game mode where you will be able to physically the approach of any other player. If your enemies are attempting to attack you at close range, you will hear them coming if you know what to listen for. Remember to stay aware of your surroundings and listen for anyone that might approach you.
Watch Your Health
Players don’t heal in Gunfight, so low health makes you easy pickings. If no one captures a flag at the end of the game, the team with the higher health wins the round. You should keep this in mind when deciding to go for the attack or not. Low health players as easier targets. Since you can see their health at all times, you can use this to your advantage.
You also need to be aware of the noises your movement is making. Crouching will make you less noticeable as you’re moving around. Stealth is import here; it isn’t a Metal Gear game or anything but you need to stay as quiet as you can to take the element of surprise.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will soon enter a wider Early Access period. If you want to succeed in the game you should make the most of it as one big practice session for the game. When it launches, you’ll be on top of the game already.
