Warzone’s blueprints have been a fun aspect of the game for a while, offering the chance to unlock a unique version of a gun. Some of the blueprints have proven to be a lot more exclusive than others however. For a while, the RAAL blueprint in Warzone and its weapon wasn’t even accessible in the game proper. It was first found as an inaccessible challenge reward in December, tantalising players with the possibility of unlocking the gun. It has now entered the game fully, but you’ll have to jump through some hoops to find it. It has gone from completely inaccessible to ridiculously rare.
This blueprint is one of those Warzone weapons that you’re going to need to work to unlock. The Rook LMG has been teased for inclusion in Warzone for some time. However, it has only just been made actually available. It is one of the rarest weapons in the game at the moment, and actually quite powerful too. Or at least the Blueprint variants of the weapons are. This makes actually unlocking it all the more important. This is what you need to do to get your hands on the RAAL Blueprint in Warzone.
How to Get the RAAL Blueprint
At the moment, there are two options for getting your hands on the RAAL Blueprint in Warzone. The first is to find it in Warzone itself. This option is difficult! The second is considerably simpler, if you still have a copy of Modern Warfare around, but you’re not getting the gun straight away. This is how you can unlock the RAAL blueprint in Warzone:
Find the RAAL Blueprint in Warzone

This is kind of where things get tricky, there isn’t exactly an easy way to just ‘get’ the RAAL blueprint in Warzone. It is essentially down to loot. If you see it on the ground or pull it out of a crate then immediately pick it up! There isn’t anything else you can do to boost your chances though. At the moment it seems to be dropping from crates the most often, so try to open as many as possible and hope you luck out.
How to Find the RAAL Blueprint in Modern Warfare
So the method of obtaining the blueprint in Warzone is bassed entirely on dumb luck. Does that mean you can’t use this new weapon? No, you can actually get access to the weapon fairly easily, but you will need to dig out your copy of Modern Warfare if you want to do so. There are a few simple challenges that you need to go through to get access to the ROOK LMG, but you won’t have it in Warzone just yet.
It is important to note here that this doesn’t fully move the gun into Warzone. Instead, you’re getting access to it in some rounds of Modern Warfare, which should carry over to Warzone once the weapon is fully integrated into the other game. While it won’t unlock it for general play, this is the best way to prep and pre-unlock the LMG.
You need to get five kills in seven different matches with LMGs equipped along with the scout optic. This is a relatively easy challenge to complete over the course of a few games. Just set up the right loadout and jump into game modes where you can rack up a lot of kills.
Why is the RAAL Blueprint so Rare?
The RAAL blueprint in Warzone is a bit of a hassle and it is frustrating that it has been locked behind such a rare drop. It isn’t even currently accessible in-game through any paid for bundles. This does point towards the weapon being more widely available in the future though. Completeing the steps in Modern Warfare should let you get at the new weapon, even if it doesn’t carry all the way through into Warzone.
That’s how you can get your hands on things in Warzone. If you’re looking to play better in the new season with any gun, then our guides to Warzone can help you improve or build that perfect loadout:
