If you’ve never seen some do a ‘dab’ before, this dance is probably not making any sense at all for you. This particular gesture is an infinity loop of dab’s from side to side, and that is pretty much it. This emote is quite commonly seen in-game, and presumably, one of the most bought one.
14. Zany

We think every Fortnite player know this dance, as it’s a default dance. Meaning that every player account has this emote straight from the start. However, it’s one of the most iconic and old-school emotes currently available. The dance is based on the character Turk from the tv-series ‘Scrubs’ making it instantly famous as soon as it hit the game. It might be heavily over-used by now, and you probably can’t stand it anymore, but it’s still one of the best fortnite dances ever released.

- Cost: 800 V-Bucks
Clang! Clang! Clang! The sound of a cowbell makes everything better right? This unique emote beats its cowbell in sync with the music, making it dance and an instrument emote at the same time. The music gets actually quite catchy with the cowbell, poor llama though!
4. Best Mates

Best Mates released back in season 3 is really an iconic Fortnite dance. What makes it perfect is the music with the goofy dance move, making even the most horrifying character silly and friendly. Many players placed this as the best dance in Fortnite, but there is actually two other emotes that has gotten even more attention than this one.
2. Orange Justice

This emote is from a contest called the ‘BoogieDown contest’, where Fortnite fans could submit their own dances. The first price was that your dance could be added to the game. A kid with an orange shirt submitted this dance and didn’t win the contest. However, the Fortnite community did not accept this. A major petition started with thousands of people signing, and several Youtube profiles like PewDiePie featured it. It later became a emote, and the kid with the orange shirt finally got justice, therefore the name ‘Orange Justice’. A fun story that got significant media coverage, making it one of the most well-known emotes there is.
1. Floss
- Released: Season 2 Battle Pass
- Type: Emote
- Cost: Tier Level 49
The most popular Fortnite emote ever is the Floss emote, famous all over the world and performed by everyone from celebrities, social media influencers, dancers and fans. The floss dance became literally viral overnight after the infamous ‘Backpack kid’ performed the move on a Katy Perry performance during the ‘SNL’ season finale. It later got added into Fortnite as the “Floss” emote, and got associated with the game as every player was doing it, in-game, in real life, at work, at school. The emote was released during Season 2 and is no longer obtainable, many fans wish it would be put upon the item store, but that will probably never happen. As it was released so early and becoming so famous, we place this as the Best Fortnite Dance and maybe even the rarest amonst them all.
