Popular Pro Fortnite streamer and Creative mode specialist Cizzorz has announced the arrival of “Cizzorz Deathrun 3.0”. This time a whopping$ 10k has been allotted as prize money. Apart from this, ESL Katowice is hosting a Fortnite tournament with $500k up for grabs. All the major pro names can be found in the list of participants.
With Season 8 starting tomorrow, Fortnite is busy hosting multiple events both online & offline. By the look of things, Epic seems to be getting back their lost momentum (ahem Apex Legends) through all of its recent announcements and activities.
Cizzorz Deathrun 3.0
This map was officially launched on the 25th of February and the last date for submission is on the 10th of March. A total of $10k has been allotted for this event and the winner gets a whopping $ 5k. This Deathrun is even more complex than the previous 2 editions and would test every mobility related attribute associated with the game.
A user already completed the run and has posted his time of 8 mins 10 secs on YouTube. Take a look:
This is the 3rd edition of the Deathrun, the previous 2 editions were received well by the Fortnite Community. A lot of the pro-streamers attempted both editions of the deathrun and you could see them attempting this third edition all throughout this week.

ESL Katowice to Host $500k Tournament
ESL Katowice Royale is set to take place on the 1st of March 2019. A total of $500k has been allotted for the tournament (100k for solos, 400k for duos). Poland is going to be hosting this year’s ESL Katowice Royale and the event is scheduled to happen over the weekend.
The solo event is set to take place on the 1st of March and should start by 12 pm CET. While the solo event will finish in a day, the duos event will run throughout the 2nd and 3rd of March.
Here’s the player-list for the duos event:

The event will be streamed on all major platforms via Fortnite’s official channels. This time, the Fortnite team isn’t making any drastic changes to the tournament system. In previous tournaments, Fortnite had experimented with new features by testing them for the first time in high profile tournaments. It did backfire to an extent with players being eliminated by unforeseen changes and over-powered weapons. In this tournament, players have been informed that no such surprises will be present.
The winner of the solos event is set to pocket a total of $20k and the rest of the $100k remaining will be split among the first 20 positions. For duos, the winning couple will get to keep a whopping $80k and the rest of the 400k with the split between the top 20 teams. Surprisingly, the prize allotted for the duos event is 4 times the total prize allotted for solos.
Don’t forget to tune in for this event from March 1st to March 3rd, 2019.
